A tennis court is transformed

The tennis court is a marvelous and bourgeois thing to have. But we don’t really play, and the court needed some serious TLC. We knew we wanted to start a growing operation of hot weather loving plants like chili peppers and melons, and the tennis court was the a perfect candidate as the asphalt radiates heat, and the flat and sunny location was perfect for a garden. With an already half-netted enclosure, it was an easy fix to protect our vegetables from the other land tenants, the deer.
